Sunrise Off Grid Transition Gathering is taking place this week 20-23rd AUG in Somerset, near shepton Mallet. Featuring green crafts, skill shares,workshops and talk from a plethora of great speakers including John Harris 'lawful rebellion' rob Hopkins 'Transition Towns' William Bloom 'Endorphins and the Buzz of Life' , Jonathan Cainer 'How to build your own time machine'. Learn to build your own Yurt, bake your own bread, make your own pots, convert your campervan, build a rocket stove! Arc Village will be there demonstrating their Solar powered 250,000 volt Tesla coil, a solar parabolic dish for cooking and running a solar engine, hydrogen breakdown and explosion from water demonstration (yes, they make water explode in front of your eyes!). Plus music from Los Albertos * Seize The Day * Kangaroo Moon * Nila Raja * Ten Ton Tongue * Green Angels * Wriggles of Nen * Dan Arborise & many more. Looks set to be a beautiful event.
