Sorry guys, but I was working security on the T4 stage all weekend, but wasn't allowed to take any pictures, I really loved it but have no piccys. Does anyone have any they could post or email me please. It would be a shame to have nothing.

Thanks in advance

Me being a V Virgin, just went on the Sunday, as didn't fancy being thrown off site to camp, plus Sat line-up didn't seem worth it..

Was not quite sure what to expect from all the cats and dogs that end up in Essex on a weekend in August..
Queuing for the event, seems like they all started in Essex too..

Sun was shining at midday and headed off for the Stranglers..wow!..great to hear those old favs again
Still dressed in black, and with not much of a crowd, it was a great way to kick off what turned into a fantastic day out..
'No More Heroes' never sounded more relevant and 'Something Better Change' reminded this old cat of the days when bands actually stood for something!..

Squeeze were on after but not quite the same impact (apart from Cool for Cats); me, TC, Scratchy and Felix just lazed around on the grass getting drunk and waiting for something to happen..
Girls Aloud seemed to pass me by as I slunk off to buy some shades and get rid of last night's curry!..

Me and the gang then wandered the site and soon stormed the B-Bar where the bangin' tunes got us all fired up..
We couldn't leave the place, the sun was shining and the weather was clear..big shout out to the Norwich pussies..

Then things got a bit blurry, I think we wandered around until we stumbled across Wineyhouse on the main stage..
Now call me cloth ears but she again sounded dreadful..I was squawking 'Rubbish' and upsetting all those around me who seemed to think she's god's gift..
Dudes need to stop idolising casualties, it's not big and it's not clever..get some help gal, u r wasting ur talent..

Was trying to drag my lot off to Hot Chip (Glastonbury deja vu?), but no go..u all know the feeling when u gotta just bide ur time til ur posse gets with the program..

Anyways, finally got out of there and heard The View's awesome 'Superstar Tradesman' from the safety of a portaloo, curry part 2 safely dispatched..

A charlatan later and it was all gather for the big chief Kaiser..I predict a shower!..

Even the rain could not dampen the hardy spirits who moshed the rest of the evening to student gangbang's such as Ruby, Never been this Far, Angry Mob (er, right!...)

By now, the fur was well and truly sodden and all that was left was to kiss goodnight and hail the last taxi in Essex back to the cat sanctuary..wondering why I'd missed the Chemicals?..

Thanks V for a Vintage, Verveless and Vivifying day out!
