The lineup for last year contained huge acts like shpongle, vibrasphere, man with no name, juno reactor, Atmos, Ott, Hallucinogen.. check out the website. This could be really huge and i am absolutely going this year, even though they havent released which acts they are booking yet. It doesnt matter, the festival will be a success. I have found really cheap airline tickets from sweden, and the festival fee (for 5 days!!) is 70 Euro. And that is really cheap!

 

Anyone else going? Doesnt matter what country u are from! Would be nice to meet some new friends there :)

Hi Guys, I'm in a bit of a dilemma here & was hoping that I could get some info that would help me make my decision.... "Boom 2010" or "Ozora 2010", things to bear in mind.... I obviously have'nt been to either of them & I come from Goa... & am just looking to BOOM & connect with lots of happy smiling faces... Any kind of information on lines of personal experiences/opinions, costs for the whole festival & Hungary or Portugal :( [All this considering I've never been to Europe before....] Appreciate any kind of help here & parallely, if anybody out there is planning a trip to Goa & needs any kinda info on the Do's/ Don'ts, Where to stay, Scenes etc etc.... Help is just a few key strokes away... ;) Boom!!

...from outstandingly different 1999 until now I`ve been shamefull enough to criss-cross almoust any small/med. electro-festival moslty in central-eastern europe and not 2 return on Balaton lake..I have visited even BOOM twice [2002,2006] ; and yet I cannot speak about any of them with such shiver in my voice as I do regarding Solipse-1999 ( the mindblowing turnpoint in my perception in world of music ).The 1&only collective turbulence on ground 4 mo!....

Still I cannot believe the spinpoint in my life from few nights ago when I decided to buy ticket for JUNO_R [ which I admire to insanity ] "heaven&hell tour" in my hometown Belgrade. All tickets SOLD..lame..
 

After small nerve breakdown I have visited Juno`s site and there was my answer/salvation info...Listening to "the perfect crime" and reading sureal data >>>...Juno_R-11th August @ Ozora!!!<<< how? when latest forum info for festival is from 3rd-8th. I`m still in debate is JUNO rly there in O.Z.O.R.A or is it old info for 2009

RLY ppl..I`m looking forward to celebrate my comeback 2 origins of true path in music gathering and almoust sacred spot/place in that wilderness. I hope its still preety much intact as it used to b back in 1999 [ the rolldown hill straight to WC hahaha and that lonely tap water near main stage, small tent, big tent and lot of Vegan minds/food/scene ]...OMG, Im getting mushy

@ Aquario >>I cannot submit only one summary or opinion regarding neither BOOM or O.Z.O.R.A (Solipse as I recall)..but, here it goes..

~ BOOM__ Pros  maybe it becomes too crowded when u get the whole picture of space provided there..Line up_s are allways as they announce(correctly, no backfire with promises)..allways some weirdly pleasant atmosphere (back in 2002) around instalations (btw gr8 fluo-decor)..and last but not least the sidekick programs&workshops ( which is main objective for O.Z.O.R.A collective this year..I must see in person)..and ECOoperative spirit regarding all systems there.
          __Cons  Distance..sometimes bad interaction with power_outlets ( I`m A/V freak with finger on REC button allways) for recharging cameras, devices etc. downside of ECO_layout..some hickups with cleptomaniacs (few tent plunders =L )..Oh yeah that lake_wtr is not allways for swiming (low temperature)

~ O.Z.O.R.A(Solipse 4 me)__Pros  Bigger space area..more intact nature, I hope they still care&nurture D nature..Lower (more realistic) price of tickets, even if i had to pay 95 Euros  vs. 120_140_150+ euros for Boom (and difference is like 2 days u get for that)..and gr8 expectations I carry with myself to Balaton lake area once more.
                                   __Cons  Absense/lack of ECOoperative message inside festival..in 1999 there was some toilet issue also ( probably fixed  hahaha,akhmmm not funny ) becouse Im not gonna Do my stuff around that zone 4 sure...and most important the L!ne up is not allways sure/certain ( I cannot get positive response that Juno Reactor, Talamasca, Neuromotor etc... will b there???)

I hope this was helpfull and perhaps I will scan old_vintAGE photos from 1999 and attach on my page so that everyone can compare conditions after that year.

How much money would I approximately need, to get by everyday for food & drink etc.??

How much do various substances cost in festivals, you can PM me the info, since its of a senstive nature to post on the forum.... Its a BIG trip for me, so any kinda of info will be immensely helpful... Boom!!

hmm i see..thats quite smart Q.. I guess that expenses per day is aprox. 25-30 Euro if U`re not too IN the food..but still ther are drinks etc...My way is like to bring mini gas_cook unit for tent (I mean outside) and some soups in bags...Really helps a lot if u devour 1L of soup everyday.

On BOOM i was wasting like 40-50 easily but that was my decision..In Ozora I know it will b different

Hi all. Last year was amazing .I think the 2 dance floors made it. Iam coming over again from Australia with a crew of hopefully 20 travellers. If it is anything like last year i cant wait.

 

Usualy , first means the best! ;)  My first was more pleasant shock than anything else...

Since then, no way to miss any of it! ;)   It is a damn Paradise! ;)

 

2009 was one of the best from what I heard... allthough i was there and the music

was full on ;) Even, there are some minor "holes" in memory due to the "data loss".

I love how Dick Trevor plays 3 times ! Green Nuns, Dickster & Dick Trevor (same guy) He does rock, let me take nothing away. He's an old mate and I'd say he's one of the best studio guys around. Veteran on the scene and still partying hard! Love the way the promoter gets him on the flyer 3 times.
